Monica Lotukoi a geologist in the department of water in Samburu County. Monica was a key player in working with PACIDA to formulate 2 Bills and 2 Policies with reagrds to climate change and the environment. With their lobbying the Bills were developed into Acts while the policies are awating approval from the cabinet. Monica and the team from PACIDA were able to achieve this in less than a year which is record breaking time because Bills take long to be approved. © Esther Sweeney / Ipas
